For our client based in West Africa, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance & Infrastructure Supervisor. This role is essential for a junior mining company developing a significant project, requiring a versatile leader to oversee plant maintenance and associated logistics infrastructure.

The Maintenance & Infrastructure Supervisor will be responsible for the holistic maintenance management of the processing plant and critical external infrastructure, including road, rail, and port operations. This position requires a technical professional comfortable with both electrical and mechanical systems to ensure operational reliability and efficiency during the project’s development and operational phases.Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily maintenance activities across the processing plant and associated infrastructure assets.

Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of complex logistics chains, including road, rail, and port facilities.

Manage technical issues across both electrical and mechanical disciplines, ensuring seamless integration and system availability.

Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.

Develop and execute preventative and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize operational downtime.

Collaborate with project management to ensure infrastructure supports production targets.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with strict safety standards and environmental regulations.
About You:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in mining, plant, or heavy infrastructure maintenance.

Proven exposure to managing road, rail, and port operations is essential.

Strong technical competency in both electrical and mechanical systems.

Demonstrated history of team leadership and supervision in a mining or heavy industry setting.

Experience working on development projects or in remote locations is highly regarded.

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is advantageous.
