For our esteemed client based in the scenic south west of the UK, we are currently looking for a versatile and talented Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the team and assist with the installation and maintenance of the newly built hydrometallurgy demonstration plant. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop ones career with a prestigious mining company. You will be essential in providing reactive and planned maintenance support for all production-related equipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is already based in the South West, or likes the sound of relocating down to the most beautiful part of the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both reactive and planned maintenance tasks across various production-related equipment, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency.
- Accurately interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to carry out effective fault diagnostics and repairs.
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and manage external contractors to maintain high standards of engineering practice and safety.
About You:
- You should hold a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance or an equivalent qualification, coupled with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
- An HNC in Engineering or a relevant discipline is preferable, alongside extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar environment.
- You are skilled in Electrical, Mechanical, and ICA engineering disciplines and have a strong grasp of IT and various computer packages.
- Excellent communication skills are a must, along with strong interpersonal abilities, allowing you to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational and time management skills are key, and a full clean driving licence is required.
